Three types of templates
We want to make sure that every print product can be created on-brand. For this purpose, we provide three different and ready-to-use InDesign templates that have been designed with the most important use cases for corporate publications in mind.
All templates comprise variable A4 sample pages and are created mainly with placeholder images and dummy text. They also contain elements characteristic of HARTMANN and must not be changed in their appearance (not even in their arrangement and/or size), such as the logo or the ellipse.
This template forms the basis and allows maximum flexibility. Therefore, it can be used to create almost all corporate print publications.
Key content: 10 different page types with at least 2 content variants each (e.g., quotes inline and quotes eyecatcher) as well as 10 differently designed double pages.
Criteria for selecting and using a template
A powerful helper: the Design Basics file
In addition to providing the InDesign templates, we want to support you in the creation of HARTMANN corporate publications with the file "Design Basics". Please familiarize yourself with them before working with our templates – especially in the early stages.
The "Design Basics" will give you an insight into the definition and use of the following essential content types:
Typgraphy
The two corporate fonts from HARTMANN are used as standard: Panton with a total of four font styles and Roboto with a total of six.
Each font style has already been defined as a character style or paragraph style. Both collections are included in the “Design Basics” file as well as in all template files.

Text containers
Text containers are used to highlight content within a page. They can be displayed as a landscape or portrait.
The info box is an alternative type of text container. It is also used to highlight content within a page and can be designed as a portrait or landscape.

Content pieces
This section focuses on dealing with certain, partly mandatory, content. It currently covers the following topics:
- QR codes – placed by default on light backgrounds or alternatively on backgrounds in HARTMANN Bright Blue.
- Gender-neutral communication – its importance for HARTMANN and the use of our mandatory disclaimer.
